Our Performance Metrics
New accounts start with a clean slate — your own track record appears here once your bot has trade history.
Your equity curve — populates from your own trade history.
No trade history yet. This is not a projection or guarantee — past performance, once you have it, doesn't guarantee future results.

Exactly what the bot does, rule by rule
No black box — this is the actual logic running every second the bot is on, the same data you can watch live in your own scan table once it's running.
What it scans
Every second, the five NIFTY strikes nearest the current spot price (ATM ±100, ±50, 0), both CE and PE — 10 contracts checked per cycle, for the nearest weekly expiry.
Indicators per strike
ATR (14-period), a 20-period moving average, RSI (14-period), the recent high (breakout level), a volatility-adjusted pullback level, and average volume — recalculated from live 5-minute candles each cycle.
What triggers a signal
Price clearing the recent high by more than 0.1×ATR (a breakout), or price sitting within 0.2×ATR of the pullback level (a controlled retracement) — either can qualify a strike as a candidate.
Filters that must also pass
Average volume of at least 1,000 contracts, and — unless disabled for your account — RSI between 30 and 60 and price at or above the 20-period average. Premium must clear your configured minimum.
Strong signal → instant entry
If the breakout or pullback clears its level by 0.3×ATR or more, the bot treats it as high-conviction and enters immediately at market.
Weak signal → wait for a bounce
A marginal signal doesn't get bought immediately. The bot watches it, tracks the lowest price seen since the signal appeared, and only enters once price has bounced back up by 0.15×ATR off that low — or gives up after 3 minutes with no bounce.
Position size
Lots are calculated automatically from your configured capital divided by the option's premium, bounded by your min/max lot settings — never a fixed lot count regardless of price.
Exit: trailing stop
An ATR-based stop trails upward as the trade moves in your favor — it only ever ratchets up, never down — plus a fixed rupee profit target per lot and a manual stop-loss backstop you set.
Cooldown after every exit
Once a strike is exited — win, loss, or manual — it goes on cooldown (5 minutes by default, configurable) before the bot will consider entering it again.
Daily limits & square-off
A maximum trades-per-day cap you set, one open position at a time, and every position automatically closed by 3:30 PM — no overnight risk, ever.
This describes the mechanics of the strategy, not a promise of results. Options trading carries real risk of loss; past behavior of any strategy — including this one — doesn't guarantee future performance. Start in paper mode until you're comfortable with how it trades.

Built by a trader, for traders
RM Algo Trading runs a systematic ATR-based strategy on NIFTY options — the same engine, running through your own Zerodha account, with full visibility into every scan, entry and exit. In our experience, the highest-conviction window for entries tends to fall between 9:18 and 9:45 AM, right after the opening range settles — the strategy scans just as closely outside that window, but that's where we've seen it perform best.
